Tutor support?

You can request direct contact with a course tutor to help you with your learning. This is normally an optional add-on and is an additional charge.

How much is tutor support?

Fees depend on the type of course you are doing. Some courses are funded so there will not be a charge for tutor support. We can also do groups, maybe 5 learners together over one hour, the group rate would be a little over the standard hourly charge.

In general, tutor support for beginner (entry level) courses would be as affordable as possible, say from £5. Higher level support might start around £25. The longer the help session the higher the cost.

Class Groups?

This is a virtual classroom. A small number of students and a tutor agree to be online simultaneously. This is charged at a group rate.

How does this work?

When you make your session booking you will need to leave a way of being contacted. You will also be able to choose a preferred time and date for your session, even if it is asap! The tutor will book that time for you or, of unavailable, contact you with an alternative. The session may be delivered online as a web conference or you may receive a telephone call. Beginners in the UK are most likely to receive a telephone call. The help might also be done by email or using an online chat system.
