Netiquette – a unique internet word bringing together the ideas of “etiquette when on the ‘net”
There are rules, guidelines really, about how everyone should behave online – remember everything you say can reach a global audience of people with different cultures, ages, religions and backgrounds. This is however, no different to normal polite behaviour in every day society
What is often missed however, people think they are speaking when in a heated debate on social media, for example. But you’re not, what is said is in writing – would you have normally written that in a letter?
The Internet Never Forgets
So its important to be generally respectful and appropriate to the conversation in hand. There are many types of conversation
