Private (Incognito) Web Browsing

Private, or Incognito, mode is a special browser mode for looking at web pages. All modern browsers have their own version, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Opera and Firefox, and they have their own name for the same thing as well!

It is important to understand what incognito mode is and is not:

It does not provide any extra security or privacy from websites, the government or your ISP or company, community or coffee shop internet connection.

It does provide a level of privacy on your device, as it forgets everything you did in that session of incognito browsing – all history, cookies etc will be erased and forgotten.
