202R0/1 Cells in MS Excel

MS Excel is a tool for managing data, specifically numerical data

Before you create your spreadsheet, think about how to arrange your data, do you want the information to go across or down the page? You will have:

  • cells that contain ONE piece of data
    • number (percentage, date etc)
    • text
  • rows going across
  • columns going up and down

As we create our spreadsheet and input our information, we must be able to organise and arrange our data correctly
