Football team with big hearts
The Walchester Wanderers don’t leave anything to chance on the pitch, but what you probably didn’t know is they are full of surprises off the pitch. The team is made up of young men from all over the city, many of whom work full time day jobs and play football up to 6 times a week during footie season. In their busy schedules, the club’s members also find time to lend a helping hand to the community. The club’s most recent fund-raising activities have included a 24 hour sponsored match, sponsored head shave and a car wash event at the team’s club.
