202R2/4 Cell Referencing in Excel

When editing or redesigning a worksheet, all the data and and formulae can be moved all over!

So that our formulae will continue to work, we have to consider if that cell reference will be

• relative (normal)
  or
• absolute

Absolute cell referencing differs as they do not change if the table around them changes

• this could be helpful where there are fixed blocks of data you use regularly
